Thomas A. Reinacher, age 64 of Grantfork, IL, died Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at his residence. He was born on Tuesday, December 26, 1950, in Highland, IL, the son of Leto W. “Tony” and Elaine A. (nee Dresch) Reinacher. On Monday, August 25, 1975, he married Eileen T. Tebbe who survives. He was a member of Grantfork United Church of Christ, Grantfork, IL and former Grantfork Jaycee. Tom was born at Highland, IL. He grew up in Grantfork and graduated from Highland High School in 1969. He worked for B-Line in Highland, now Eaton B-Line, as a forklift driver. After 40 years of service he retired January 04, 2013. He was an avid gardener with his father and he carried on that tradition. He grew sunflowers, many different colors and heights. He won many ribbons at the Madison and Bond County Fairs for his sunflowers and vegetables. He formerly bowled at Hi-Topp and Grantfork Bowling Alley. He enjoyed pitching horseshoes and going to dirt track racing at the Highland Speedway. He liked telling jokes and John Deere tractors were “his thing”. Survivors include: Wife – Eileen T. Heilig, Grantfork, IL Brother – Jack P. (Edith) Dresch, Gloucester, VA Sister – Kathy A. (Robert) Maher, Greenville, IL Sister – Susan E. Reinacher, Belleville, IL He was preceded in death by: Father – Leto W. “Tony” Reinacher died 1/11/2005 Mother – Elaine A. Reinacher nee Dresch died 9/16/2002 Brother – Darrell L. “Butch” Reinacher died 6/14/1994 Son In-law – Steven B. Heilig (died 7/20/2005) Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL, with Rev. Tim Darmour-Paul, Pastor, Grantfork United Church of Christ, Grantfork, IL, officiating. Private Family Interment will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Grantfork Volunteer Fire Department or Donor’s Choice.
