Su-Hwei Chang, age 96 of Highland, IL, died Friday, October 24, 2014, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Highland, IL. She was born on Saturday, March 16, 1918. She married Yu-Hen Chang who survives. Su-Hwei was born in China; educated in China at Kaifend Girls Teachers Academy College earing a college degree (unusual for a Chinese lady in 1940). She fled to Taiwan after WW II on December 27, 1948. She and her husband lived and reared their family in Taiwan for 30 years. They moved to the United States in 1978, and lived in New Baden and then Highland. In Taiwan, she taught Elementary School for 23 years. She was very busy with rearing her children. Sandberg, New York, NY Hsiaolei R. Miller, Brooklyn, NY Surviving Brother Surviving Sister She was preceded in death by a Sister Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, Illinois.
