Todd L. Bacon, age 47 of Saint Jacob, IL, died Saturday, November 15, 2014, at Deceased’s Residence in Saint Jacob, IL. He was born on Thursday, April 27, 1967, in Highland, IL, the son of Garry L. Bacon and K. Yvonne (nee West) Bacon. Born at Highland, IL; grew up on the West Coast (California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada and South Dakota). Moved back to St. Jacob, IL, five years ago. He worked as a mechanic for years and also did custodial work. He was injured on the job in O’Fallon, IL over three years ago and has been recovering from the injury ever since. He played pool, threw darts, socialized with friends, loved to watch movies and enjoyed time with his niece. Survivors include: Father – Garry L. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL, with Rev. Gary Kniepkamp, Pastor, Saint Jacob United Church of Christ, St. Jacob, IL, officiating. Private Interment will be at Marine Cemetery in Marine, IL.
